Edgeworth Eagles secured their Australia Cup Round of 32 place with a mixture of different results, featuring two major wins by 8-0 and 7-0 scorelines and two victories by the solitary goal.
It was a 22nd-minute goal from Ryan Feutz that saw Peter McGuinness’ side into the national knockout competition, with the Eagles holding off Newcastle Olympic in their Preliminary Round Seven clash.
Edgeworth will be looking to make the Round of 16 for the third time in their rich history, with their other three appearances seeing them eliminated in the Round of 32.
