A 4-1 win over Kingscliff Wolves set the tone for the campaign, before victories against Peninsula Power and Maroochydore Swans saw them through to Preliminary Round Seven.
Against Surfers Paradise Apollo, Lions FC prevailed thanks to goals from Luke Broderick and Alexander Fiechtner secured their spot in the Cup, where they’ll be looking to advance to the Round of 16 for the fourth time when taking on Perth RedStar FC away from home.
