Brunswick Juventus booked their place in the Round of 16 in emphatic fashion, while North Sunshine Eagles also dramatically made its way into the next round.

Marlin Coast Rangers 0-4 Brunswick Juventus
Brunswick Juventus put in a convincing showing as they advanced through to the Round of 16 with a 4-0 win against Marlin Coast Rangers.
Brunswick quickly asserted their dominance holding the vast majority of the ball throughout the contest.
The side made the breakthrough in the 20th minute.
Luka Pullen broke into space in the left of the box and drew a good stop from Rangers goalkeeper Kevin Ward. But the ball rebounded to James Xydias who nodded into the goal from the middle of the box.
The visitors doubled their advantage just before halftime. Sallu Kamara whipped in an enticing, inswinging cross from the left towards the far post for Nuh Sehavdic to steer a header into the bottom left corner.
A couple of good saves from Ward ensured the Rangers remained in with a chance of turning things around despite a challenging first half.
It took Brunswick less than 90 seconds after the restart to extend their lead as Marko Basic unleashed a superb curling effort from the edge of the area that nestled in the top right corner.
The Victorian outfit’s onslaught continued and Basic added his second before the hour mark with a well-taken volley from inside the box.
The hosts found themselves a player down in the 80th minute when Oscar Rodriguez was shown a straight red card.
Four goals proved enough for Brunswick as they continued their journey in the Australia Cup.
FK Beograd 2-3 North Sunshine Eagles
North Sunshine Eagles prevailed against FK Beograd 3-2 in a thrilling encounter that saw all five goals come in the second half.
The away side sought to take control of the match in the first half, and maintained possession confidently, but their opponents remained resolute.
Both sides had a couple of good chances throughout the first half, but the scores were still locked at 0-0 as the teams went into the sheds.
The match burst into life soon after the restart.
It took the visitors just six minutes to open the scoring. Julien Barras sent a header from Corentin Chauve’s free-kick looping over Beograd goalkeeper Alex Woodlands and bouncing into the goal.
Beograd struck back a couple of minutes before the hour mark. The home side capitalised on a giveaway, with the ball falling to Jason Konstandopoulos who drilled an effort inside the far post.
The Eagles quickly re-established the lead. Rai Dos Santos slipped in Shifa Ahmed on the edge of the box to pick out the bottom right corner and put his team back in front.
Dos Santos looked to put the result beyond doubt in the 83rd minute when he reacted fastest to a scrappy sequence in the box to score his team’s third, but the game wasn’t finished there.
A thundering header from Marco Torriani halved the deficit for the home side five minutes later, setting up a grandstand finish.
The Eagles held on to advance further in the Cup.
